Traveling to San Francisco

Day 1: We arrived in the afternoon, so our first stop was dropping off all of my sister’s items. She was on the trip to move, so she had more luggage than the rest of us. After checking into the hotel, we needed food. If you’ve ever stayed in Oakland, the Marriott is the way to go. It’s nice and clean and offers amazing views. We ended up ordering from LaneSplitters because it was close. The breadsticks were amazing! The pizza was pretty good too, but I am a die-hard The Pie lover.

The rest of the day was spent getting my sister set up but we knew the next day would be exciting.

Day 2: We were up early and ready to roll into San Francisco. Let me tell you that people in California drive like maniacs. I was super nervous, but we made it to Ghirardelli Square. The day was beautiful and the parks and area by the water is gorgeous. Here are a few pictures of the pretty places we saw:

After spending some time eating and walking, we drove to the other side of the city to see the Chase Center because my dad a huge Golden State Warriors fan.

We wanted to stop by the Golden Gate Bridge too. The walking side was actually closed to cars, so we had to do a few quick u-turns to get there but it was definitely worth it.

That’s it. It was a quick trip and we really went to move my sister but it was great! If you get a chance to go to Lomard Street, you should go too! I went on a previous trip, so this is just a stock pic. šŸ™‚

Talk to you soon!
